Image is a reflection of reality. The image of our country is very poor. The reason is not far-fetched. It is because of poor governance over the years. The overall result is very high corruption in all areas of our life leading to insecurity in all ramifications such as militancy, Boko Haram insurgency, kidnapping and injustice in the polity. This results in poor infrastructure at all levels, poor budget preparation and approval. This is currently going on at the federal level . What is the solution? It is transparency in government activities to give confidence to the citizens and assure that a fair system of rewards and punishment for our actions.
